We now want to look at another woman, called Elizabeth McCarthy, whose views echo those of Julia’s. Beyond keeping the same outfit on for 100 days in a row, however, Elizabeth also made a thorough video explaining her beliefs. She described how anyone can go through what Julia and she did and grow so much from the experience. Elizabeth aimed to become more aware of her environment by taking into consideration the frequency that she wore certain clothes.

Rather than purchasing new pieces, Elizabeth wished to make each clothing item last as long as possible within her possession. She landed on a dress that she believed she could stand wearing for 100 consecutive days. Elizabeth took some time deciding on the ideal garment that would suit all her needs and make the lengthy challenge manageable.
