Julia was nevertheless committed to continuing with her lessons, pretending like nothing was wrong. She was well aware of the cruel stares and amused comments that followed her around the school property. As for the teachers, they seemed content regarding Julia as some kind of pitiful girl, never being bold enough to confront her about her minimalist wardrobe. Julia was determined, however, and she soldiered on without showing a single crack. She would do her best to blend in with the crowd.

The teachers and parents alike were worried that she would soon begin having a negative impact on the students. That was when the principal decided that a meeting with the parents was due. Would Julia lose her job for doggedly sticking to the same dress, day after day? She was not going against the school’s code of conduct.
